I'm using an old, mostly unused Compaq Presario laptop to run SETI. It's slow but every little bit helps, and it might as well be doing something interesting rather than rusting away on a shelf.
My main interest in SETI is observing the law of unexpected consequences. We may be searching for signs of ET, but perhaps there will be interesting findings not directly related to that search. Who knows? |
