Personal background |
Hi, I'm Dennis. I was born and raised in eastern Oregon, but now reside in Tacoma, Washington. I work in a lumbermill, but have a deep fascination with all things scientific.
I enjoy building computer systems in my spare time, which unfortunately requires all of my spare money. I also enjoy classic cars, and I currently own a 1964 Thunderbird and a 1939 Ford pickup.
I must say that I really appreciate the warm welcome I have recieved from the members of Seti@Home, and I will be spending a lot of time on this site.
Thanks.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I began running SETI@home because I kept hearing about it in different forums all over the place. Finally, one day, I googled SETI@home because my curiosity got the better of me. I believe the SETI project is one of the most important human endeavors we, as a race, are undertaking. What could be more profoundly important than the discovery of other life in the vast universe? The day life is discovered elsewhere, be it intelligent or microscopic, is the day the human race changes forever. |
