Personal background
My name is unknown to most, for my job requires a lot of secrecy. I am the Human Ambassador to the Squirrel Empire. You probably have no idea what I mean. Well, squirrels are FAR more organized than you think, and are fed up with humans. The squirrels are part of a larger organization, AFTOOM. (Animals For The Overthrowing Of Mankind) The squirrels are the leaders of this group, and are known as the Squirel Empire. Their technology is far superior to humans, yet they have no reason to look for life from other worlds. That is why I use SETI@home. I shall now quote from the Squirrel Prophecy. "In the human year of 2011, Atlantis shall come forth from the Southern Pacific, and Squirrels shall rule over all who oppose them!" That leaves you 9 years, folks. I must go, I have to be present at a major AFTOOM meeting. Until next time.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Seti@home is a worthwhile project, for it is not only a neat screensaver, but helps in the search for life from beyond this planet. People should send an interplanetary message telling of the history of the world, and what we think of aliens. I do not personally believe that any aliens exist with technology advanced enough to travel across worlds, but there is always the possibility. I do think that alien life is out there somewhere, but it is not advanced enough to planet-hop. Of course, mabye aliens know of Earth, and are staying away from us because they fear (or pity) us. About the screensaver option: It would be nice if the whole box moved instead of just different views of the graph, so that the outline of the thing isnt burned into the computer screen.
