Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Does extraterrestrial life exist? Yes, of course it does. Only human arrogance would assume otherwise. The question is, does INTELLIGENT extraterrestrial life exist, I have an idea that the answer is still yes, it does. We may have already discovered it or maybe they have discovered us. We just have to find away to figure it all out. I have know idea what the benefits or danger would be if any, well, other than getting Billy Gram to shut the (Radio Edit) up. If we do find a signal, we should send one back. Hello might be a good start. Then send jokes, lots and lots of jokes. If they don’t have a sense of humor, I don’t want them to visit.
I run SETI so when we find a signal I can tell my cousin, “See, I told you so”
The project is a great idea. Keep looking, error, lessening.
