| My name is Sean and I hail from Fremont, CA. I\\'m a trekkie, but not overly obsessed with it. Just enough to entertain the idea of life beyond our own humble planet. I\\'m an aero major at Cal Poly, so naturally any discovery of life out there would likely send me into ecstatic bouncing off the walls. My girlfriend is also a trekkie...maybe I\\'ll try to get her to help. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run SETI@Home because it allows me to contribute to the scientific community in a way that may benefit mankind more than just scientifically. If hard evidence that we are not alone is discovered it could very well spark a movement and mindset that has not been seen since Colombus returned with reports of a new world beyond the horizon. May this endeavor expand our horizons as the explorers of olde did. |
