I'm a 42 year old astronomy nut who is disabled so I don't leave the house much. I spend most of my time in front of my pc ore my telescope on my back porch or watching the history and science channels. I wish they had a channel dedicated to nothing but astronomy.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home in the hopes that one day man with communicate with another living being in another galaxy or even in our own galaxy. You'd have to be a full to think were the only living beings in the vastness of space.
I think SETI@home is the best chance at communicating with another life form and I was thrilled to find out it was still going on.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
