Personal background
Hi, my name is Dave and i come from the U.K, I'm just an average joe with the same dreams and asparations in life of most folk. I have always been a big believer in the fact that we are not alone and i am really proud to be a part of this project. When i was little i always wondered if i would ever do or discover smothing that might help or benifit mankind? well you never know watch this space.

By the way i'm a gas engineer i like anything space related. I'm getting married to the most beautiful girl in the world in september 2006.

I have personally witnessed a UFO in broad daylight over the skies of Lancashire England and i have a witness my father, we both saw it at the same time. It was round and milky white in apperance almost see through, size wise about the size of an egg but that is stood on the ground looking up at a passanger jet at full altitude when this thing passed between. I guess it was say halfway between us and the passanger jet, and boy did it motor an estimated guess it covered 6-8 miles in as many seconds in a straight line. Most deffinatley not of this world!!!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run seti at home because i trully believe there are new friends out there that can benifit all of mankind. This program alows me as an individual to get involved in that search by lending what little resorces i have to that search. As one i make a small but significant impact in the search, but as one of hundreds of thousands, mountains can be moved and new worlds discoverd maybe in my lifetime? maybe tonight?

There is a saying as a christian, if you open the door then christ comes in and dwells in your house. If we don't look hard enough we'll never find. After all this is God's creation we are looking into.
