I live in Southern Nevada, about 60 miles from Death Valley and 70 or so from Las Vegas in a little town called Pahrump. I am a single mom to two wonderful kids and take college classes online, that is how I learned of this, through my Astronomy class.
I have always believed that we are not "alone" in the universe, and hope by helping with this project, we can prove it!
I guess that is it for now, just wanted to say a little something.

OOps, guess I answered the first question above, that I am running SETI@home to help find whoever is out there. I think this is an incredible project when I was looking to join one of the groups I was amazed at the numbers I saw.
Not sure if I have any suggestions because I am just learning about this.
I am sure I will have some one day, but not today! :) |
