I am David Tingle age 35 and live in Beech Grove, Indiana. Right now I am playing the homemaker role. I build computers as a hobby. I have a doctorate in divinity which i guess is strange for someone who spends most of his time thinking with logic. I tend to believe that there is a spiritual type of connection to even the most profound sciences.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am running seti@home because I find it hard to believe that if there is some great god that created all this that it only took the time to create us here on earth. I believe that somewhere out there, there is a more intelegent race of beings and I personally would like to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are not alone in this universe. Logic dictates that their are intelegent lifeforms out there. So I wait. Unfortunately we as a civilization a war like race who follow our leaders blindly. so I tend to see us as the evil invading aliens. I could hope that I am wrong but our history disporves me time and time again. so I am here in the ever dimming hope that mankind might change and become something better then we are now.
