Personal background
Hi, I'm 62, mom of 4 kids, grandma of one, retired, widowed, living in the high desert with my new better half, my youngest daughter, my horse, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. I have always had a fascination with life on other planets, and my community of Yucca Valley, CA, has been a UFO hotspot for over 50 years. We have the Integraton, a dome built by George Van Tassell, who claimed he was visited by spacemen one night, and they told him how to build this rejuventation machine. He spent the rest of his life building this fascinating building complete with copper wires, and perfect acoustics, that was supposed to make people feel better as they walked through the building. It is a very spiritual place. I am very happy to help you with this project. Thank you for the opportunity!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do want to help you with this project. What is the way to make contact? Hey, it's already happened. But not with computers or spacecraft. No. It's possibly in another dimension, something that is beyond what we can do at this point. It's very personal, very metaphysical, kind of scarey and creepy. And totally fascinating. But if there is some way for you to touch another being out there in the great unknown, I'd be happy to participate. Suggestions? Talk to retired military people, like I have. One guy who had worked at March AFB as an information officer when he was in the service told me he got calls from civilians in Riverside who saw some kind of weird huge UFO one night. When he asked his superiors about it they told him he didn't need to know anything about it. So I don't think you have to go very far away from Earth to find some kind of extraterrestrial life.
