| Hello! I am a 34 years old guy from Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. I've been working in the IT area my entire life (sys admin, networking, systems integrator...). In my spare time I like to brew a good cup of coffee, create some IoT projects with ESP boards, PC games and everything computer related. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I joined SETI@home back in 2006. At the time my best computer was a 1GHz AMD Athlon. Many years later I am back at the project with a 12 core water cooled processor running at 4.7GHz. What a wonderful time to be alive!
I really like to be part of this project as I have great interest in space, electronics (telecom and signal processing) and computing in general.
I was sad to hear that SETI@home is not going to be distributing any more tasks, it has been a great journey guys! |
