Personal background
Greetings fellow Earthlings!
I'm an amateur astronomer, trying very hard to break into the aerospace/space exploration industry. My background is in computing (been doing mostly help desk), but my interested in astronomy and aerospace has been growinf steadily over the past 6 years.

I'm a member of the Amateur Astronomers Association here in, New York, and bought a "kewl" Orion telescope not too long ago; and I've been fortunate enough to get out to dark enough skies to seem Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and several Messier objects (although, I've not done a Messier Marathon yet).

I've been also taking astronomy classes, both through the club, and at the Rose Center (even took a class with Neil deGrasse Tyson himself! :D ).

I look forward to chatting with my fellow SETI peers, and learning even more than I know now....

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do you run SETI@home?
Like many of the people on this project, I'm interested in exploring space and contacting other forms of intelligence. I figure it'd be real interesting to have my perceptions about "life" challenged...

What are your views about the project?
I think this is an awesoem project, and I'm willing to lend myself to it in any way that I can.

Any suggestions?
None...yet... ;)
