I'm working in an office so nothing spectacular. I've a lot of hobbies like reading, music, walking, dancing, tennis, darts, snooker etc. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I believe that we can find something out there.
I don't know what exactly but that's the thrill about it. I started a few years ago with the original Seti@Home and switched to BOINC later on. But my computer wasn't as fast as I wanted it so I bought a new computer which is crunching regularly since Jan 06.
We will find something out there. SETI has become a favourite hobby. Most of my friends don't understand me but it's fun though!
The project should use optimised clients because it's hard to see that a work unit has to be calculated for more than 3 hours if you know that it's possible to do the same in half the time. That's my only suggestion to the project. |
