Personal background
I am a Japanese living in Japan. My hobbies include reading magazines, computers, and weightlifting. I am hoping to get to know some scientific minded people who can enlighten me on some scientific concepts like the gravitational theory, theory of relativity, etc.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The reason why I decided to download the bionic screensaver is because I was fortunate enough to know about this project through a documentary I saw a few days ago, and having a genuine interest on extraterrestrial beings, I felt that maybe by downloading this screensaver, it would enable me to make my humbly small contribution to SETI research.

I think this project is a very good idea. Uniting as many computers out there as possible which have internet access in order to increase the rate of computer calculations drastically is probably the fastest way our current technology can offer.

Since I was drawn into joining this project because of watching a documentary about SETI, perhaps showing such documentaries online for free would inspire more people like me to be a member of SETI@home, although admittedly, this idea could already been thought of by members of this website.
