I am in my 50's and semi-retired. I gave up working 50+ hours a week, plus some additional time on weekends, as a manager and now work 32 hours on the time clock. People who don't know what that is like also don't understand that this switch is like being on vacation. I live in North East Wisconsin and am working on what I want to do with the rest of my life. Although I enjoy my new freedom I am looking for other challenges.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I don't use my computer that much and felt that since I don't it could be used for SETI. It would be great if this project would help gather information about distant places and that information could help us all on this planet.
