Personal background
I grew up watching the space race in the 1960's. I love the thrill of space exploration. When I was 17, I joined the US Air Force because it was the closest service to space. After being a medic for several years, I went to nursing school and later to medical school. I am now a Family Practice physician. I have been a Planetary Society member for over 20 years now, and thoroughly enjoy the magazine and all the things the Planetary Society does.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There is a chance we will contact others in our Galaxy some day. I enjoy being part of that search. Perhaps one day, we can pursue our search with human space exploration.
