| I'm an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, heard about SETI@home in Alex Filippenko's Astronomy 10 class. Thought it would be cool to participate in something like this, to donate my CPU time to something bigger than showing a slideshow from home. I grew up in Seattle, went to Garfield High School. Chose to come to Cal because I wanted some nicer weather for awhile and there were no schools in Washington that I really considered up to par...I worked hard in highschool and want the most I can get for my work. So, naturally, I didn't bother applying to Stanfurd Junior College. |
