My name is Stef, i'm french but i live in HongKong where i have my own company. I import and sale french wine, champagne and different alcohol.
I read a lot of books every year, especially books about history because i "like" to see how human being can be stupid sometimes (history repeat itself...), i like books about science too, but unfortunatly i'm not a scientist so i try to find books that i can understand easely. I love nature, animals, plants... But there is 1 thing i love very much, look stars. Lie down on the grass, keep my eyes open and think.
Sorry if my english is not perfect but i left school when i was 16 just because i never met good teacher. So now i learn by myself... |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Why SETI@home ? that's easy and i think my motivation is not "unique"... Just because i'm sure that we're not alone in this huge universe. We can't be the only "intelligent" species. I read books and newspaper about abduction, even i don't believe all storys. The second reason is, 1 day, i should say 1 night i saw something in the sky. I don't know what it was and i don't say it was a spaceship but for sure it was not an illusion or a natural phenomena. Recently, i went to France to see my family and in july 2006 at 5.25pm i took some photos. (you can see it in my profile). I think it was a piece of a satellite or maybe an asteroid ??? I sent the photo to a french magasine about space but i still wait for their answer. If you want to see them i have 4 more, and i'll be happy to send them to you, maybe you can tell me what is it...
My view about this project : Well, i just want to help you, i know governments on this planet think that search and spend money on this project is not a priority (except if there are some benefits to make), but i really hope that 1 day, (before i die) we will meet "people" from space.
I just have 1 suggestion, change the screen saver, it move too much and make me feel dizzy. :) |
