Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I live in hope (though realising it's a long shot) of discovering that we're not alone in the universe .... I admire and support the project and am glad to contribute in even the tiniest part to its execution. I think science is our only weapon against the increasing tide of superstition and bigotry that threatens to engulf us, and therefore feel I must do whatever I can to support it as a discipline.
