I'm not quite 60 yet. I live in Memphis, TN, where I work at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. My friends and colleagues often ask about the SETI@Home screensaver, and they politely tolerate my reply about how the project works.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think helping with distributed computing projects while I'm not actually using the computer for anything important is an easy way to be collegial.
