Personal background
SETI@home

I'm 56 years young, and have lived in Alaska for the last 23 years. Our Family loves outdoor sports, skiing and fishing. My kids are out of college and have thier Degree's etc. I have at least one advanced PHD. in hard knocks,
my kids tell me that. I have worked in remote locations here in the Great North
and have seen the Northern Lights for 20 years plus. They are truly a sight to behold. With that much night sky watching, SETI is another home for me. The older I get, the more I realize that we are just dust in the wind, solar wind that is.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Is there Life out there? Yes!, all we have to do is the Math. If Space and Time go on forever, we can not be the only Life. We live in a small system on the edge of a medium sized galaxy. I know we have all seen the Hubble Deep Space View by now. There is a lot of stuff out there!
The SETI program is a good start. The Hubble program is great for the eyes and those linear minds. It's my hope, that we can make some sort of contact in the next 25 years. In that way, I'll be able to see it. If we do make contact,
there will have be a step-up to the next level. If we are to go to space for real, we better get it together; we are pretty fragile as a lifeform.
We have already sent the beacon and They probably saw it. We should change the information we're sending, but that's going to take some work.
I run seti@home because its the right thing to do, its the step in the right direction. It's good to put the Dells to work, they sound better when they are running.
