| I live near Seattle, Washington and am a student at Green River Community College. To get myself through school, I work at a hotel as their night auditor, which is a graveyard shift. Since I work full time and am a full time student, my hobbies are limited to things I can squeeze in between other obligations, but mostly I read quite a bit and hang out with my sweet heart when I can. |

- 1. I run SETI@home because I think the pursuit of some intelligence other than what is on our planet is an awesome thing. I am extremely happy to contribute to this.
- 2. This project is extremely important to humanity because, without searching for signs of extraterrestrial life actively, how can we know whether it exists?
