I am 56 years of age, Australian and reside in Bindoon Western Australia. My hobbies are astronomy and computer gaming. I am currently working in Saudi Arabia as contractor for a defense company supporting the government in their in country to enable the Saudis to become self sufficient in this high tech industry. Prior to that, I served in the RAAF for twenty years, this is when I became aware of the SETI at Home project.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. To find the answer to if we are alone. Doubtful considering the size of the Universe.
2. A useful and long overdue use of multiple computers sitting idle. I am reasonably confident that this project will find that something we are all looking for.
