I am a 32 y/o w/m pilot who is fascinated with the furtherment of space and research and hope the discovery of extraterrestrial life and new worlds will take place in my lifetime.
My hobbies are rock climbing, snow skiing, astronomy and of course flying. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1.) I firmly believe that other life in this universe exist, if not then it seems like a lot of wasted space(no pun intended)the possible benefits would be to our science and research departments, the dangers would be letting the buerocrats handle anything, they would only see new technology as improved weapons or see intellegent life as a threat and try to destroy it. Discovery should only e encountered by MEN OF SCIENCE!!, not men of war.
2.) Yes we should initiate some sort of signal or contact.
3.) I run seti at home because I believe in what seti does and would like to do, I believe the projects that seti has begun are of great importance I only wish more people would get involved and support projects like this, When the people of this planet pull together we can really make a difference in things. |
