I go by the name of Mister Chief!
I am retired from the United States Coast Guard where I had a career in Navigation and Search and Rescue.
Having spent a long time at sea, I have always watched the stars, and out at sea without the light pollution landlubbers are cursed with, the stars are magnificent, to say the least. I believe that God is the ultimate artist and seeing the universe in such detail just reinforces it to me. And I believe that we were not the only ones created. It would seem to be such a waste of creation just to be the only ones. But, belief is just a part of the equation. And this vehicle is a way to hopefully find our fellow travellers in the universe.
Other Stats: Almost 54 years old, live in Florida (land of the hurricanes!)
And of course, a terminal Python fan...but I don't like SPAM! |
