I am Anand Shinde, I am a Amateur Astronomer. I have a six inch Newtonian Telescope. Watching night sky is my hobby. I am 25, working as a Server Admin in an ISP company. Unmarried. Day time hobby is biking, and night time hobby is Astronomy.
I plan to built a larger telescope. May be 12". I like to view and record the celestial events. I have been observing night sky for last six years.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

India is a developing country. People in here don’t know much about astronomy.
Educating people will help increase awareness and interest in Astronomy.
I came to know about the SETI program by Discovery channel, so I visited the website, I am felt so glad that I am getting a chance to participate..
I personally think that there are many friends I know they will surely will take interest in participating in this activity.
Also many people do have computers at home but don’t have any internet connection. So if you could give some files to download and process it will surely help a lot of people to participate.
