Profile: Bill Martell

Personal background
Retired Naval Communicator. Primarily a "Sea Dog." Currently reside in the Pacific Northwest, however, will be relocating to San Francisco Bay Area shortly. Love the Northwest, but, love my grandkids more. Avid baseball fan, not to condusive to the "A's" or "Giants." Life long Raiders fan. Born and raised in Napa until I entered the service in 65, retired in 93 and enjoyed every minute. I believe there has to be "something" besides ourselves in the universe and am willing to do what I can to prove it. Will add more later.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I truly believe that we are not alone and I wish to do something to help prove it. This is my way of participating.
2. Eventually this project will "intercept" a signal and the world will eventually realize that "ET" really does exist. Not in the sense of hollywood, but in a positive way.
3. Try and get validation in a more timely manner. Waiting a week or more for validation can be very frustrating at times.
