Profile: Daniel Jackson

Personal background
I am a 24 year old college student. I am currently working towards a degree in Business Admin., but not sure for how long. I have been in love with the stars since 1987 when I was introduced to Star Trek: TNG. Picard is the Greatest. I also enjoy Stargate SG-1/Atlantis, BTVS, Angel, Firefly (Serenity is coming), and many other Sci-Fi movies/shows.
BTW:

TOS: Good for It’s time but not now
TNG - Classic Sci-Fi Goodness
DS9 - Soap Opera In Space = Are You F***ING Kidding Me?
VGR - The Best Damn Sci-Fi Show EVER!
Enterprise - Scott Bakula = Are You F***ING Kidding Me?

I would eventually like to change my field of study to a more Science/Math based program, but I am neither smart enough, nor motivated enough to do anything about ... anything.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI at home because I want to know whether or not "we are alone". More than that, I like to contribute to things that I am interested in.

Mostly though, I want to see if morality is man made or a natural occurrence.

Humanities greatest and most fatal flaw is "it's" determination to distinguish "itself" from the animals and to let that arrogance blind "itself" from the truth with the pursuit of perfection and absolute understanding.
