It seems highly improbable that we are the only life forms in the universe. With the huge ammount of cosmic material all around the little tiny thing we call earth it is foolish to think that we could be the only living things out there. We do believe that there are other life forms out there, somewhere, whether intelligent or not they are out there and we will probably not encounter them until our technology devolpes much further and allows us to travel across galaxies in a reasonable amount of time. We are just begining to search for ET and we still have a long way to go
