Hi out there, I am a 44 year old living in Sydney. I am married with 1 Stepdaughter living with us. I work in the transport industry and in my time have seen some Illegal Aliens.I run SETI@home on Four pc's because I want to find out whats out there.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I cant believe in this vastness of space that we are the only living beings that would be arrogant of us.I also believe that our technology is far more advanced than it is revealed. I believe ( in my oppinion ) that the US Government suppresses a great deal of information. Maybe life has already been discovered how are we to know. If life exists, they would have been around a lot longer, and their technology would be far more advanced than our own. The danger I think is not in the discovery of other life but one side of earth or another gaining any advanced technology to benifit themselves. I fully believe in what we are doing in sending out signals. The whole idea gives one a feeling of belonging in a competitive way. I run SETI@home on Four computers because like others I want to know. I think the project is a fine way to get the world to aim at one goal.I can only hope that if a signal is found then the Government does not gag it.
