| I live in Michigan (SW Detroit, Downriver area), and work at the Detroit BMC. Now have 30+ yrs Federal Service (with military). I like to read and listen to music. I like the Discovery channel, the History channel and the Learning channel and that's about it for TV. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Got the idea about Seti from a fellow Postal worker I met in a class and decided to set it up and see what it's all about. When you think about it and realize that some of those little points of light in the night sky are not just stars, but star clusters and whole galaxies, some of which are bigger than our galaxy, how can you not believe there isn't life out there? To think that we are the only life forms in the entire universe, seems to me to be the absolute height of arrogance. I just hope they're friendly!! LOL |
