I am a 34 year old marine engineer working for the Canadian government. I have so many hobbies that I end up doing none of them. This was perfect for me to play with as I do not really need to do anything.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well I believe that this is just as viable as any other science with the exception that this group had the fore thought of distributing its workload.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
