Personal background |
I live in Kansas City, MO nearing 40 years old. I'm married with 3 children.
I think SETI@home is one of the greatest achievments in computing history. Who'd have ever thought we could amass so much computing power so simply (relatively speaking). |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I have no idea if ET life exists, but I certainly believe there is a possibility. I believe however if there is a more advanced civilization out there, we will not find it, they will find us.
For me SETI@home is just a fun thing to be part of a greater whole of such computing magnitude. I seriously doubt there will be any significant result as far as finding ET life. The only gains to this project will be in learning how to better our scientific methods. |
