Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Given the enormous size of the universe.
It is totally absurd to believe that the human race is the only intelligent
species ever to exist. These civilizations might be so far apart that it
takes years and years to find them but they are out there.
Our closest star is 4 light years away, So a message from our closest neighbour
would have to be sent 4 years ago. And actually hearing a message from even furhter
away would be like listing to our past.
But hey IF YOU DON'T LISTEN YOU DON'T HEAR ANYTHING
So why not not take the time to listen.
