Personal background
I'm 22 years old & I live on the southwest coast of the UK. I am currently studying a GNVQ Science, City & Guilds C & a number of distant learning courses. I am keenly interested in computer operating systems & networking, space exploration, electronics & human psychology. My most adrenaline pumping ambitions are to either be part of the team that creates the first human light speed vessel to explore space or to find a cure for cancer of the brain, lukemia.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes I do believe there is life outside of our world. I would safely say we will discover at least one within the next 100 years. The most likely event of discovering life outside from earth, would be on the moon Europa around Saturn.

No! I do not believe it would be a very wise, or logical idea to give the location of our life enriched planet to unknown possibilities, at least, not until we know more of what is out there.

I'm keenly interested in the work SETI does! I hope for this project to be able to continue on for many, many more years to come. It is very possible that SETI be the first ones to actually discover an alien signal from a distant world. Ok, it may be over 100 years old, but at least it will prove that there is intelligent life out there, somewhere!
