For the past 2 years I have been tinkering with computers 3/4's of that time employed as a tecnical associate for a local computer Corporation(just a little hole in the wall for now but as a computer company goes greatly diversified). Real Time Stradegy gaming is among my hobbies. One day (Here's my ultimate job goal) I hope to get payed for playing video games, until then I inspire to learn everything. Jack of all Trades Master of none.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The possibility of Extraterrestrial life existing is what intriges me about SETI. Just the faint chance of hearing or processing the data which might identify ET is exciting.Couldyou imagine going on a real Star Trek to seach out new life? The possibility of planets with global peace molecular transport devices. Modeled Gravity for long distance space flight , cryo chambers maybe? All we need is a sign an invite if you will. The search for the spark that will ignite our collective minds into a frinzee of bondless what if's. What do they look like? What do they want? What do we do now that we have found them? Do they look like the blue girl on Farscape? :) I feel we should take the chance and transmit a signal. Could the borg be one solar system over? Could be but to finally answer the question are we alone now there is the key. But will our people be ready for the challenge if things go wrong? Possible Utopia ? Possible hostality? Well I for one being a curious human want to know the truth.
