We both graduated from UC Davis in 1995. Cari majored in English and is a full-time mom. Brian majored in BioSci and is a high-school science teacher. We live in Merced, a town that is frighteningly similar to Davis, except that Merced's UC campus is much smaller. (so far...) This is a photo of us with the Super Bowl cake we made this year.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
We're both sure there's intelligent life elsewhere in the Universe. So, what if the first impression we make on ET is a hip-hop music video or Britney Spears's cell phone or something even dumber? And what if the first signal we detect from them is something equally dumb? Something to think about....
