Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
i am not entirely sure that radio wave emissions from a distant civilization will be detected with present technology and method... life is certainly present elsewhere but the problem in finding them lies in guessing... we know not when and where they exist and under what conditions they live... yet the quest in finding others like us may yield in itself marvels beyond that of our destination... thus attempts are never made in vain because absence of action results in absence of outcome...
