Personal background
I am your average, formerly long haired, hotrodding, computer using, intelligent, biker-type, music-playing, geek. I have one son, and a beautiful loving girlfriend. I have more computers at home than I really have space for, and all are speeds equal to or greater than 3ghz. and all are crunching for S@H. Hopefully I will write more at a later time.

OK, it's a later time, now. I read. . . a lot! Current favorite is 'The Harry Dresden Files' series by Jim Butcher. But, my reading isn't strictly limited to fiction, I am also currently studying oxygen reclamation systems, different propulsion systems (atmospheric, and non), non-poluting, yet powerful, motors; such as The Papp Motor.

As stated above, I love music. . . all kinds of music (currently Desmond Dekker is singing 'Israelites' in the background), reggae, rock, 80's glam, metal, big band, soul, funk, electronica, whatever. I love to draw, write, learn, build things, and experience life and all it has to offer. I have been through the bad, and ready to experience the good. I want to contribute to the future for my son.

As many people here, I also have an interest in astronomy. And for a passing interest in Astrology. I no longer watch tv, got tired of the 'programming'. I do have an abiding love for movies. So far this year, 2006, not much has caught my attention.

That's enough for now. Crunching away.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Currently I run S@H to help search for new life out there.

S@H is cutting edge, leading technology, I am proud to be a part of it.

I hope that the Solaris client is better coded for the 'enhanced' version.
