| I'm from Connecticut, USA, I'm 25 years old, and among other things I do outside of work(at the moment, I'm a customer service rep for an insurance company-one of the best ways to contact people from all over the country!), I like to work with almost all kinds of computers, I love movies, games(both electronic and non-electronic), books( I honestly can't imagine ANYONE who isn't able to read), puzzles, spending time with friends, and preparing to 'settle down' and spend the rest of my life with the woman I love. =O) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes, I think extraterrestrial life exists-most definitely. When and how we will discover it, that I DON'T know. (I sincerely hope it will be in my lifetime.) Benefits-we'll know we're not alone, and sharing of information & knowledge could possibly help us grow even more as a species.
2. Yes, I think we should transmit a beacon. (Haven't we already? I think they called it Voyager or something.) Information we should send-who we are, the things we've learned, stuff like that.
3. Why? I just want to be a part of something that could potentially change our planet. I think it's a bright, original solution to a monumental task. And as for suggestions, not many-just keep sending me more data to crunch! |
