My name is Ricardo Villamizar, a clinic psychologist from Quito, Ecuador.
Currently I am working as elementary school teacher; it is an amazing job, maybe the best in the world.
I also like electronics, photograpy, mountain biking, diving, swimming, mountain climbing, etc.
I also manage an NGO, commited to environmental protection and education. So, I invite you to visit Ecuador, a very interesting country: One day you can climb to the highest mountain of the Earth (measured from the center of the planet) and be near the space; another day you can go to the rainforest, another to deserts, another to the beach...

A friend of mine says "I fish because some day I will catch a siren". Maybe that is the spirit behind all SETI members and friends.
My view about SETI? Well, maybe the ET signals do not exist; maybe they have passed; maybe they are arriving (in a billion years). Or maybe tomorrow. But, If we do not research, we will never know. |
