| I am English by birth,arriving in Australia as a 14 year old in 1964.I joined the Australian airforce 3 years later.I joind the Australian weather bureau as a technical officer in 1975 and have been employed by it ever since.My hobbies include music, photography, reading,and,ofcourse,the Seti Project.I've always had an interest in Astronomy. |

| I certainly believe there is extraterrestrial life,but I'm unsure what form it would take.I hope it's in a form where we can eventually comunicate with it,and-if possible-learn from it,to our benefit.One hopes,ofcourse,that it it is friendly.I run Seti at home,because I truly believe there is life out there somewhere,and I would like to be involved in it's discovery.It's a good feeing to know that in some small way,I can contribute,despite the fact that I have few formal qualifications. |
