Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I think we should know as much as possible about the universe we live in. Even if the end result is that we are alone, we would not know until we try to look. I also believe that by supporting research methods such as this, will increase their popularity allowing more projects to easily obtain grant money to fund the use of these methods which in the long run will save them money to do their research.
