| Just a "relative newbie" here, but very glad to be part of a project as vast as SETI@Home. I'm an older gentleman, married, and on a fixed income after spending more than 38 years of my life dedicated to the design, construction and modernization of vessels for the US Navy. Since I didn't have the opportunity to directly serve in the armed forces (doctors wouldn't let me go), I did the next best thing I could think of by dedicating my professional life to making sure our Navy had the best equipped ships possible. |
