My original line of work was in the IT field (big shock), and growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area made that seem like it was going to work out quite well. However, I got sick of the IT field and lack of job stability and moved on.
Currently I am involved in Law Enforcement in Northern California and the U.S. Military Reserves. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

SETI@Home is an absolutely phenominal idea. With government funding for things of this magnitude dwindling, it becomes increasingly important that we find other ways to persue our belief of life elsewhere, or just the need to explore.
SETI@Home keeps that belief and capability alive, and it brings it to a personal level where everyone who wishes to become a part of it can become a part of it.
Perhaps one day I'll be able to look at my children and say "Daddy helped find Aliens." How cool would that be? |
