Why do I run SETI@home?
First of all: Why not? ;) Maybe this speeds up the search and we will be able to communicate with "aliens"...
What are my views about the project?
I think it's nearly impossible that there's NO life out there...
If the universe is infinetely big, there are infinite galaxies and infinite planets...
And then there have to be life somewhere...
But I think that they will find US first...
The dangerous thing about that is the fear of the unknown...
Maybe we are going to make big mistakes because of that fear.
