Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
At the Ohio University Radar Hill Laboratory in the 60s, we tracked satellites optically, with the night sky as the unfathomable background. It's impossible not to wonder what's out there.
Now in semi-retirement, the decision to join came in a simple conversation during a hike in the California mountains with some friends -- "...Hey, let's just do this...! Sounds like fun!"
