Personal background
Hi!
I'm a 22 year old computer science student from Austria and work as software developer. Currently I'm writing an Application in C#. .NET is pretty cool but I also like programming in Java (in General : as long as it's OOP and not C++ it's not that bad) :-)

I study at Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria. It's really interesting and I like it, but I'm not to busy in finishing. I enjoy working too much - you learn as much as on university and it's pretty cool, because now I see both sides of the story - the theory and the practical. And I need to know and want to know both...

So, that has been the boring stuff. In my spare time I usually do lots of sports: Badminton, mountainbiking, swimming, working out. It's just great, because it's an possibility to relax - the harder it gets, the better it feels

I like listening to musik, either while programming or during sports. Usually I listen to Korn, Linkin Park, Disturbed,... and so on. It helps keeping relaxed and beeing awake and at a certain level the same time.

By now, I really have no clue what else I could write. If you want to know anything else or you are just bored you can write me via ICQ : 251500542.

Sorry for the lousy pic, but my WebCam isn't that good.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why I run it? One of the main reasons I run Seti@Home is that at home I run my personal File Server. To keep my Computer busy I run Seti@Home. Nevertheless, until now (2004-08-23) I used the 'old' Seti system but now I'll try out the new version.

I really like distributed computing and I'm pretty interested in it.
My views about the project? I really don't know if there is any life beside the one on earth, but in my opinion it would be a huge waste of space if we would be the only one.

Suggestions? Mmh, the windows client seems not 'finished', but the Linux Client works, and thats what really counts for me...

Yup, thats all from my side. I wish you a nice day.
