Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It seems so long ago that I was born, yet im only 16. In todays world we need to strengthen out society and get the children motovated into helping with good deeds. I believe that SETI brings alot to the community, maybe not so much now, but it will sooner or later. There are alot of computers out there that aren't being used and we need to utilize the power they are using. If we aren't using them, they should be doing something usefull for us or for the world instead of waisting our hard earned money on cycles doing nothing. SETI and various other programs bring these computers to a new world where every computer, no matter how old or slow, they can still be used to do work and process the work loads it is given to create results that will one day help out our world. This program isn't about credits and I believe that the people who try to cheat their credits are cheating for no reason, what is cheating going to do for them? make their team or them number 1? number 1 for what? They haven't actaully been helping out the program, only haulting it and making it tougher on the program owners that have to figure out how they cheated and spend time coding a patch. I believe that if you want to help the program, you help the program, that is all. Don't cheat because it wont help our society and world. It will only slow us down.
I run SETI to help mankind. To help students learn :)
I run SETI so that students can learn faster and also one day maybe my computer/team will have found out important data to places/things/objects we have been wondering about for a long time. Maybe on the news there will be headings of new findings thanks to the SETI program.

I always think about whats really up there in the space which our planet floats in.
That is why I have joined this SETI Team that my best friend Bluefyre created which brought our other best friends together to create a awesome team.
