Just another computer geek trying to help find E.T. I am from Southern California, this will be my Thirtith year on this rock called earth. I work as a Network Administrator at a local Manufacture. I usually spend my time on my computer playing Role Playing games or hanging with Friends playing table top role playing games. I also enjoy Airsofting on the weekends when I am not gaming.
I have been doing WUs for Seti for a couple years now and can not wait till the day we do find out we are not alone.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Why do I run SETI@home; Good questions, well because I have always been interested in space since I was a small child. And the though of only us being in this universe is just can not be. So I run SETI@home in hopes we will finally find out we are not alone out there.
2. What are my view about the project; Well I think it has come along way since the original launch of SETI@home. I hope we will see further projects that will use BOINC and the distributed computing model.
3. Any suggestions; Well I have a couple but I picked just one to answer this question with tho. And that is keep working out the bugs and work unit delays so we can get work units when we need them to process.
